During the summer months the Columbia Valley is bustling with farmer’s markets, festivals and arts and culture events. At the centre of the Columbia Valley lies Lake Windermere – with water temperatures reaching 21 Celsius (70 Fahrenheit) in the peak of summer, two public beaches and plenty of choices for renting watercraft – there’s plenty to experience at the lake!
The Village of Radium Hot Springs is pedestrian friendly and offers visitors a traditional small town experience with shopping along main street. Friday nights throughout the summer months in Radium Hot Springs feature live music and a farmer’s market right in the heart of the Village. Be sure to stop by the visitor’s information centre (just next to the Mountain Market) for answers to all of your questions about the area!
